Back at school, still full of memories from Finland! For the final part of our Erasmus+ trip to Eurajoki, Finland, our students took part in an online workshop with Lithuanian students focused on protecting and sustaining the Baltic Sea.

They also had the opportunity to learn traditional skills from the past, including gutting a fish and making a fishing net — a unique hands-on experience rooted in Finnish culture.

The day ended with an evening disco organised by the parents’ association, creating a relaxed space for fun, connection, and shared memories. Over the course of six days, our students showed remarkable openness, curiosity, and courage. They were eager to try new things, immerse themselves in Finnish culture, and build meaningful, long-lasting friendships.

They returned home on Friday, and today, back at school, we’re already looking back on this experience with huge appreciation — and more than a little longing to return.

The trip is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme under project number 2025-1-PL01-KA121-SCH-000310724.
