We are delighted to share the officially confirmed news that our students from Grades 7 and 8 have become LAUREATES of the inter-school 5th edition of the International Youth for Peace Competition, organized by France TV in cooperation with UNESCO.
Their 60-second film “Sounds of Peace” received the main award in its category — a remarkable international achievement. Congratulations to the young creators: Grade 7A: Małgosia Sz., Sebastian Cz., Maja S., Teo S., Milla O., Nikodem Cz., Maciek L., Iwo R., Natalia L. Grade 8B: Adam Sz., Laura S., Franciszek P., Sebastian P., Maria D., Eliza P., Jakub K., Marcelina J., Tosia Z. Their film tells the story of a ruler ready to launch a nuclear bomb — until the sounds of nature make him reconsider. It is a powerful message about peace, responsibility, and the value of life. Becoming a laureate of an international artistic competition is one of the highest-ranking achievements, appearing on the school leaving certificate and considered during high school admissions. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Kryspin Pluta for his artistic guidance and professionalism, and to Agnieszka Langowska, our UNESCO coordinator, for her support. We are incredibly proud of our students. Thank you for nurturing their creativity and confidence. https://www.francetvpro.fr/contenu-de-presse/69456681
