Yesterday, our 7th and 8th grade students had the absolute pleasure and honor to take part in the “Following the Footsteps of Freedom – The Tricity of Conscious Citizens” activity by attending the powerful musical 1989 at the Gdańsk Shakespeare Theatre.
As part of our DEB@TA: We Think. We Speak. We Act. project, co-funded by the Ministry of National Education’s program “Young Citizens,” students experienced a moving story about courage, solidarity, and the unbreakable pursuit of freedom. The performance offered not only an artistic encounter, but also a meaningful reminder that the liberties we enjoy today were shaped by people who stood up, spoke out, and acted with determination. A truly unforgettable lesson in citizenship.
