Independence Day at our school was a truly special celebration of unity, hearts, and minds. The entire school community—from our youngest students to the oldest—came together to honor this important day with passion and dedication.
The event featured beautiful and moving musical performances by our students. However, the highlight of the day was the Oxford Debate performed by our senior grades. It was an impressive display of maturity, courage, and the power of argumentation, judged by a panel from the Polish Naval Academy in Gdynia.
Preparations for this event took over two months. Our students participated in an intensive course on the art of argumentation led by Prof. Iwona Jakomowicz-Pisarska, in cooperation with the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Naval Academy.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Ms. Iwona Chojnacka for her tremendous commitment, passion, and professionalism in organizing this event.
It was a day that proved education is not just about learning—it is about building a community and sharing values. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
This event was part of the project "Deb@ta. Think. Speak. Act." under the Ministry of National Education's program "Young Citizens" (Młodzi Obywatele).
