Our 6A students took part in the “Lens on Europe” initiative – an inspiring series of film workshops about democracy, the origins and development of the European Union, and what it truly means to be part of the EU community.
They learned not only about key European values, such as respect, solidarity, freedom, equality and cooperation, but also about how the EU was created as a peace-building project after the Second World War.
With the support of Ms Paulina Pohl-Pluta and Mr Kryspin Pluta, they created a meaningful social spot presenting these values and the idea of European unity from a young person’s perspective.
This activity was carried out as part of the “Deb@ta: We Think. We Speak. We Act.” project, within the “Young Citizens” programme funded by the Ministry of National Education.
Our warmest thanks to Dom Filmowy for their incredible commitment and exceptional workshop programme, which empowered our students to tell their own story through film.
