On Friday, 12th September, Grades 4–8 gathered in the playground to commemorate the victims of the 9/11 terror attacks.

Mr. John spoke beautifully and profoundly about the human desire for peace, emphasising that to achieve peace we must all be peaceful. We cannot expect peace unless each of us practises it.

Mr. John and Mr. Stuart had also written an original song for the occasion, entitled The Challenge, which further explored the themes of Mr. John’s speech. Our students listened intently and showed a genuine sense of reverence and respect for the topic. We were very proud of them for listening so attentively.
