Using some of the money that was raised at our annual Charity Auction, we purchased two laptops and two computer mouses which were presented to the children by Kasia Pawloczenko and Natalia Maciejewska.

Before they were presented to the young people, the computers were prepared with anti-virus software, an office pack, and an account with a password.

The single computer that the Children’s Home had was not working properly; of course, the children wanted to use this computer but often had difficulty because it was old, slow, and stationary.  We are happy that they will now have hours of enjoyment on the computers that we were able to provide them.

We will visit the Children’s Home in a month or so to see if everything is okay with the computers and address any problems they might have encountered. 

We received a warm welcome from the staff of the Children’s Home.  Like us, they were grateful for the generosity of the American School parents that made these gifts possible.
