On December 13, 2019 our annual Charity Auction took place at the American Primary School. The Auction Commission calculated that the amount collected was PLN 37,261.00.
The event began with a wonderful Christmas Market, prepared by the students of our school. The extraordinary works of our pupils were very popular. The audience could also listen to the wonderful performance of the opera soloist Julia Iwaszkiewicz and admire the dance of Janek Wasilewski, one of our sixth grade students who is the winner of many national dance competitions Janek and his partner Victoria Wojnarowska performed two beautiful dances that displayed their talents and professionalism. An unquestionable attraction of the evening was the performance of John Sudar and Stuart Field (American Brutus), children from the school choir, who with highlander kick introduced the gathered in an extraordinary atmosphere of the holidays, as well as the show of playing the ukulele, which was prepared by Danielle Ria Hobby from New Zealand. Auction participants also had the pleasure of a musical performance of a sixth grade student, Kiara Stempień. An additional attraction of the auction was the taking of professional photos with Saint Nicholas at the "school photo shop" and film screenings for children taking place in two different "cinema halls". A raffle lottery for all students was held. Traditionally, AES auctions also provide exceptional culinary delights, and this year was no exception: excellent cakes, snacks and aromatic coffee was on offer, and even the most seasoned gourmets were not disappointed with the offerings. The auction ended at 19.30.
The funds that we collected will be provided to the following:

This year's Charity Auction was a huge success. The funds that we collected were allocated to support those most in need. It is good to know that among the American School community there are many people with big hearts and generous spirits who want to help others who are less fortunate. The motto of our auctions has been ''Good Returns,” and we heartily agree with the sentiment of his motto. We are very grateful to everyone who contributed and extend our thanks for their time and committment.
