The American School is pleased to be hosting young people from Spain, Italy, and the United Kingdom next week as part of one of the Erasmus + projects that our students are involved in.

This project, Jeux sans Frontiere, focuses on issues related to migration. During their time in Poland, the visitors and our students will be engaging in a series of activities related to modern migration.

In addition to a variety of excursions around the Tri-City, they will be involved in improvisational workshops conducted by Ms. Zuzia, Ms. Iwona, Mr. Stuart, and Mr. John. They will be joined by a Theater Arts teacher from the UK. These workshops will culminate in a performance that will take place at the Gdynia Cultural Center and will be filmed.

The week will end with a ceremony that will include an Oscar ceremony, complete with refreshments and a red carpet at Studio Panika!   

We believe that this will prove to be a worthwhile, stimulating, and rewarding experience for all involved and further move us toward achieving the goals of the American School’s Mission Statement and those of Erasmus, namely fostering cultural understanding, global citizenship, and self-development.
