We are pleased to announce that our school has received funding for the project "Our Patron: I.J. Paderewski” as part of the Bank of Ambitious Youth Program of the Santander Foundation. Paderewski was a piano master who helped achieve an independent Poland. Works on the implementation of tasks are already underway!

For many years, among the governing board, as well as in the teaching community, there was the idea of giving our school the name I.J. Paderewski - an outstanding figure who combined Polish and American history. Celebrating the 100th anniversary of regaining independence is an ideal opportunity to present to our young people the figure of this outstanding Pole and his work and contributions to Poland.

►historical field game - running with tasks for youth (October 24, 2018),
►historical and theater workshops (September-October 2018).

The culmination of our project will be a unique event.

On November 6, 2018 at 3:00 pm, the American Elementary School, in cooperation with the Cultural Center in Gdynia, is planning to celebrate the 100th anniversary of regaining independence by organizing a concert of songs and presenting the play "Scenes from the life of I.J.Paderewski". The event will take place in the newly opened building of the Consulate of Culture in Gdynia, and the students of our school and artists from the Tri-City cultural institutions will perform on the stage!

We cordially invite you all!
